Wellhouse Lane

Part of Wellhouse Lane will be temporarily closed for five weeks from Monday 24th of August to Sunday 27th September to facilitate a drainage diversion, delivered by KAMM Civil Engineering Ltd.

A 350m section of Wellhouse Lane from Andover Road junction will be closed to traffic across both lanes throughout this period, with signposted diversions in effect. Residents of Wellhouse Lane will have access to their homes throughout.

After reviewing a range of options, and timings, the closure was agreed with the Hampshire County Council, acting as the Highways Authority, and Southern Water. It was identified as the safest and most efficient way to deliver these necessary works, which involve a number of excavations along the length of the road.

We recognise road closures can be disruptive and would like to assure you that we are working to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible.

A map detailing the area affected by the closure and the diversion routes is below.
